Dollar Store "Finds"
I have to admit, this store is great and you never have to ask the price of anything!
My "finds":
Name-brand cleaning products
Frozen items
Mylar balloons (blown up!)
Name-brand frozen food
Tea light LED candles (3-pack) (these are $5 or $6 elsewhere!)
Gift bags/cards
and loads of seasonal items -- MUCH cheaper than Target!!!

Found the exact item I was looking for! It was $3.79 at Michael's and I bought it for $1 at the Dollar Store.
Looks like they are just setting up a huge amount of Christmas items.
Gift bags/cards/wrap/candy/etc. all at a good price, LOL

Re: Dollar Store "Finds"
Someone just asked in another category where the Dollar Tree is located.
It's next to Dempsey's in the old Golden Eagle Shopping Center. I can't remember the new name of the shopping center.
Anyway, this store is GREAT. Very surprised how many name-brands are carried, such as Advil, Sun-Maid, Del Monte, etc.
They just stocked a big selection of Christmas/Holiday stuff.
For a DOLLAR!

Re: Dollar Store "Finds"
Stopped in to the new 99 Cent Store in R.P. Grand opening is Thursday. People are already camping out for it. I guess the first nine customers get a flat-screen TV for 99 cents. Then the next 99 people in line get a scooter for 99 cents.
Actually a pretty nice store. Lots of fresh California produce and name brands like Dole and Knott's Berry Farm.
Hats, scarves, gloves, baby onesies -- good selection.

Looks like Dollar Tree is doing well.....BUT.....PLEASE hire a few extra employees to straighten it up. We went there a few days ago and there was only one register open, and all the aisles were a MESS!!! Kind of like a huge rummage sale.
The prices are GREAT though. Sure beats Hallmark for cards, gift wrap, etc.
