County Employees to go on Strike?
Was reading earlier this week about the Sonoma County employee union threatening a strike because they want an 11:1 employee to management ratio. Currently, according to the article the ratio is 6:1.
Here's an idea: In order to get the desired ratio the union wants, let's cut some administrative management overhead and make managers manage more people.
Result: Union gets their 11:1 ratio and we save on taxes. Win-win?

Here's another idea. How about we fire all of them and let them get a job somewhere else where they get to retire after 30 years with a full pension at tax payers expense. I'm sure there are plenty of out of work people who would be happy to have their jobs, with just a 401k.
