Four new restaurants coming.......

According to the Petaluma Patch (hello, Petaluma A-C?), four new restaurants are opening soon in the Petaluma Plaza North (including the already-mentioned Simmer). Here's the link: http://petaluma.patch.com/blog_posts/four-new-restaurants-coming-soon. Also, apparently a new one in the Plaza South.

I'm sure that shortly, someone will post here complaining that there are too many [insert type of restaurant here] in the city, and besides, why weren't they consulted about this?

You're right, the story has strangely disappeared from their website! Other than Simmer, which will be where Afendi's used to be, something is going in "around the corner from Starbuck's," by which I assume they meant the old Coyote Grill spot. Also, another one is replacing the departed Mongolian restaurant on the west side of the plaza (sorry I can't remember what it was), and there was a fourth (maybe to replace Skewer's?). Also, a restaurant called "City Chopsticks" is apparently replacing the closed Chinese restaurant in the Plaza South.

I've heard good things about Five Guys; never been to one. Also, there will be a Chipotle Restaurant there, too.

Have never ever understood the In n Out draw...we've tried it more than once; seriously, never impressed......kids love it though so we'll do the occasional takeout fly by for them.
